Raven... one of the great NWOBHM bands, and one of the forerunners to thrash.

Accidentally discovered by my obsession with record collection, I happened along one of thier Live gems quiet a while ago. Absolute metal madness.

Youtube videos (songs):

Thought I'd share these crazy bastards with all of you who may not know of them.

No, I don't have a "Downloaded copy of the 'No Life Till Leather" demo tape as my siganature". I'm not even sure how that sentence is supposed to work.

let this be a lesson to everyone here.

you WILL be judged AND your metal credibility will be under scrutiny if your signature doesn't match your internet personality.

so it is written.

I still don't understand why I'm narrow-minded.

I have a cassette of 'Nothing Exceeds Like Excess' sitting in my car, but I haven't listened to it in a long time. I think the band wore off really fast for me.

They weren't thrash (Although they certainly had an influence on it), and your confusing different musical movements.

They have just announced a 35th anniversary show on October 2nd at the Red Room in Vancouver, along with Vancouver bands Entropia, Magnus Rising and yours truly Striker. Definitely looking forward to this gig.
