My favorite right now are the new Operatika and Dawn of Destiny.

I agree Crystal Viper is awesome, and if you're a fan of that band, also check out Twilight Odyssey, Seventh Seal and Phoenix Reign.
:metal2:

Btw, both Fairyland and Dark Moor had a female vocalist (the same chick actually, who's also currently in Hamka and Dreamaker), but they have male vocalists now. ;-)

Check out Velvet Viper.

On a side note, while there is a lot more bad power metal out there than there is good power metal (Flower metal, especially in this day and age, ex. Sonata Arctica, Nightwish...etc) There are dozens of bands out there that did it right, it's all about being open to music, because you're no better if all you listen to is that unknown (Insert Black/Thrash/Grindcore) band that no one has ever heard of.

Didn't Fairyland have a male vocalist? Doesn't Dark Moor as well?

Either way, who cares because power metal rules.

Everyone who digs awesome vocals (and bands) should check out CIRCUS MAXIMUS:

Especially the track "Abyss"

Not 100% sure on Fairyland, but i know for a fact that Dark Moor had a female vocalist for their first three albums and a few EPs. she did vocals for what i think is their best album, The Gates of Oblivion. one of the best Power Metal albums i've ever heard.

I'm still a major fan of female fronted power metal...

Right now, I'm listening to the new Amberian Dawn a lot, and the new band Rising Sunset (which I just fully reviewed on Metal CD Ratings).
