You need to start making some money off some of your shots.

Reflex, are those last bunch of the box canyon at Ya-ha-Tinda ranch?

You should see it when it is frozen in winter, it looks stunning!

Nice shots, I haven't had much time to play around with staged photos, I will be doing so over this summer/fall/winter though! plan on getting some mind blowers for sure.

nicely done.

no, most of those shots were of maligne canyon in jasper national park, about a 40 minute walk down the trail.

iHartPhotos: very nice.

that 2nd one is pure art.

very well done.

I just got back from the Yukon, didn't really get many photo ops since it was mostly a road trip/camping, didn't have time to really think out some shots or fiddle with settings, mostly just shoot and go, most of the time I didn't even have time to do that... missed out on 100's of shots I am sure... ill post a few soon.

that picture just smells of bad taste.
nobodies perfect, and those three slaves prove it well.
it looks like if the guy on the right pulled the trigger,a worthy photo may have taken place.

This is huge update....

Took the SCENIC ROUTE (Highway 40) through Alberta up to the Alaskan highway, then all the way up past Whitehorse, off the Alaskan Highway onto the Klondike Highway, then all the way back the same way until the border of Yukon and B.C. where we took the amazing Highway 37 back all the way to Highway 16 back through B.C. into alberta... INSANE road trip.
Image
Image

The Yukon (and some B.C. and Jasper)...

If you haven't been to the Yukon you should GO. Its similar to B.C., but the mountains get smaller in some parts, although there are still some massive ones, and Canada's largest (tallest actually) mountains and mountain are in the Yukon (6000m!!). Its an amazing place, must like B.C. with the mountains but it has a much more rugged feeling to everything, only about 40'000 people live in the entire territory! No litter, clean air, clean water, clean everything, tons of wild life, the best camping (not to mention THE SINGLE best place to get drunk in the world, the fucking Yukon!). Its Beauty is unsurpassed and if you are any kind of outdoorsman like myself then you feel a connection with the place, you just feel at home, like you belong. I cannot begin to tell you how that feeling was there, very strong - and of course coming back from the trip into the City again was DEPRESSING, shitty.. just terrible. We all agreed we will be back there one day not to far from now. Its just that good.

These pictures are not too bad, although since we drove so far (in total about 5000k) to get out there and back we didn't have nearly as much time as we all wanted to do anything, and pictures was one of them. So a lot of these are rushed, or just taken because we were THERE, not because we picked there to take good pics or something. So we took what we could get in terms of pics, and it was far more about being there than pictures anyway, they were an afterthought. So, I took nearly 300, almost all were really good like these but I just picked through them all to get these. The Yukon is the best.

**on our way, this is PINK MOUNTAIN, on the start of the Alaska Highway in Northern B.C. (thats Mike with is old man driving sun glasses).
Image

**just one of the (literally) thousands of creeks and rivers on the alaska highway and up in the yukon.
Image
Image

**I couldn't have time to get accurate pics of the Alaska highway in action, the mountains there are CRAZY and the road is infamous around the world for being the craziest and just pure awesome.... this is the start right before you get into some serious mountains: A SEA OF GREEN.
Image

**I wanted to bring my macro because they have all sorts of cool stuff up there, most of which I couldn't take pics of because of time and camping:

**Driving, and driving and driving, we did some good 1000k drives a few days:
Image
Image
Image

**Muncho Lake provincial park, right near the top of B.C. the color off that lake is amazing, so clear.... so blue.
Image
Image

**this is how dark it gets. period. all night. we were far enough north that the sun never sets, so this is what its like all night, you can easily see far away, or across a lake in this light, pretty light out actually, it was cool. these pics are a bit darker than it really was.
Image
Image

**more driving:
Image
Image

**The YUKON River, about 40 minutes outside of Whitehorse, there is this weird dam there as you can see....
Image
Image
Image
Image
Image

**more driving: yukon style up on the KLONDIKE HIGHWAY.
Image
Image

**camping spot way up north at Twin lakes a few hours north of Whitehorse:
Image
Image

**you can see in that camping pic above these where Mike is chopping wood, just beyond him is THIS:
Image
and then... later.. the next day.. (FUCKING HEART ATTACK LUNG REDUCING COLD!!!!!!)
Image

**YES, this is a HIghway, Highway 37! Look on a map, it goes straight down the middle of B.C., its REMOTE.... fucking insane, some of it isn't finished, no lines, some of it isn't even paved as you can see, its AMAZING, A MUST DRIVE part of our Country.... can't even begin to describe this one..
Image
Campsite on Highway 37, man....

**Back into B.C./Alberta - The Fraser River
Image

**Miette hot springs, the other two went for a dip while Jeff and I took the 5k trail up to sulpher ridge, awesome.

**leaving the hot springs back to our campsite:

that lake off the "campsite off highway 37" looks pretty spectacular.

On the long lists of places I'm going to adventure in, yukon is definetly in the top 10... maybe even top 5
