Since the last one like this got so large, we will start over again on session #2 of the "show us your pictures"... here are a few i took over the last 2 months, some are from thanksgiving weekend and some are just inbetween, and a few are on the beach in vancouver..

These ofcourse are reduced in quality somewhat and they are about 50% smaller than the originals.

you might be suprized to know how big that flower actually is, or should i say... how small it is. its small.

Im getting a new toy soon..... whats a few grand on a nice camera? Hahahahaha.

Although ive seen so much evidence that a good camera dont mean shit sometimes as far as good pictures go. I think that the true art of photography is vision and human emotion. I mean taking a picture of someone looking cool for the camera is one thing..... bah... you get it.

Nice shots Invective. The one of the iron fence kinnda reminds me of my avatar! And that tree that you shot during the summer, was that not one of (if not the) first photo you shared with us?

Went through about 15 pictures and whistling like a moron to get their attention to line up nice and good. Nosey inquisitive doe, great for photos!

Image

Not the same three you see above, yet taken the same day.

Image

Me and my puppy dog

Image

This was taken during the night time (hence the uber shite quality, not good at night time pics... yet... I hope...) when I was walking the dog thru a big open field and from out of the trees 8-10 doe materialize and begin walking right in front of us. I whistled and they all stoped and were checking me and my puppy out. I stood there for a little while before slowly walking at about a 45 degree angle infront of the line of path. They were fine with that and contiuned to walk, every now and then stoping to stare at us. I got within about 20 feet of the two up front and decided that was close enough.

That would be correct! I just went back and looked through that thread, happy to see most of the pictures are still htere :)

I wish I have the scenery you have. Taking pictures of downtown loses its feeling after about 20 shots.

And Reflex, I fiddled around with a bunch of cameras the other day, of course I reccomend the Canon XT, but that new Nikon is pretty sweet too.

We should make plans for the near future, while the weather is still decent.
