That’s a pretty sweet rig dude!

Love the Warwick’s, I'm quite partial to mine, love those basses.

Ya loose the Hartkes, but hey, how well does that TC electronics unit work as a bass effects unit? Do u have a midi pedal for it?

Dude I used to have a shock mount case, but after luggin it on the road for a bit I just got sick of it. If you’re hell bent on protecting your stuff, and you need 8 spaces, I would just stack 2 x 4 spaces. I had an 8 space with hopes of filling it one day, and that thing weighed like 50 pounds before I put anything in it!

Yeah, that was what i was thinking.
If it ends up to be too heavy, im just going to go with the 2x4 suggestion and use the 8 space for a wireless and IEM rack.

Although the G-Major is pretty good for a bass effects unit.
Plus it has a built in tuner you can set for bass guitar if you are strapped for space.
I do have a Midi pedal for the thing, i used to use it for my guitar head, and have the G-Major switch my Preamp channels aswell as effects, but seeing as i dont play guitar asmuch as i used to, i figured id put it to use.
The only downside to it that i find, is that there isnt any overdrive on the thing.
Although i heard on the G-Major II there is.

Ya i noticed the lack of overdrive when i was looking at their website.
I'm looking into getting some bass effects, and i was looking at the g-major. Its gonna be that or EBS bass pedals.

EBS are awesome! Pricey, but worth it.
I am not a huge pedal fan. I used to haul around a pedal board in another band i was playing guitar for, and i hated when people would fall and spill beer all over it!
Scince after buying the G-Major, i killed off the pedal board and just ran an overdrive to the front.

Dude EBS pedals are so sweet, their amps are really cool too!

You can power all your pedals off of one of their heads, effects loop are phantom powered.

I would love to own an EBS head, but full power runs at 2 ohms for all of them. You'd have to always have two 4 ohm cabs to get full power, and I don't think its worth it for only 650 watts. Unless you get a 2 ohm cab...

Ive seen an Older SUNN 4x15 cabinet that runs in 2 ohms.
Its hard to find something that runs strait 2 ohms.
But for the price of buying two cabinets that are the 4/8 selector, it wouldnt be worth it.

But i didnt know their loops are phantom powered.
Thats really sweet. More people should be doing that.

Howmuch did the TC cost you?
I was looking at them a while back, and they seem pretty cool.
